Follow few simple rules to make sure your carpets survive this difficult time in good shape!
Shoes off! While some of us use slippers all year round, some don't mind sliding into bed in shoes still on. While it is not a problem during dry days, it is hygiene issue when it become muddy outside. Debris, microorganisms, bacteria will not only ruin the look of your carpets but also creates unhealthy environment for you!
Door matt on! In order to avoid excess dirt at the entrance invest few pounds into small door matt. Step on it and take the shoes off! After dirty seasoon you can just bin it!
Invest in carpet protector! When doing you regular carpet clean don't forget to add carpet protector! The spray that we put on carpets after cleaning, coats the fibres and creates silky surface making it difficult for any dirt to stick to them. This way dirt and spillages are not so easily absorbed.
